Course Teaching Goals

Our permit to carry course focuses on transferring the relevant information surrounding the legal use and carrying of a firearm. The course will also go over the basics surrounding safe pistol operation, the introduction of tactics, and state carry regulations.

What do I bring?

While we can supply most of the equipment needed for this course, we encourage our students to bring their own gear that they train with.

  • Fully Functional Pistol or Revolver
  • Two Magazines
  • 50-100 Rounds of Proper Ammunition
  • Eye and Hearing Protection
  • Note Pad and Pen
  • Snack and Beverage
  • Outdoor Clothing and Shoes
  • Form of Payment, Preferably Cash or Check

House keeping

Our permit to carry course is tailored for individuals with a basic understanding surrounding firearms safety.

  • Students May NOT be Prohibited from Possessing Firearms
  • Be of Age to Obtain a Permit to Carry
  • Arrive a MINIMUM of 5 Minutes BEFORE Class Start
  • May NOT Be Absent for More Then 15 Minutes of Class
  • Successfully Complete the Range Qualification
  • Be Willing to Complete a Liability Waiver
  • Address Will be Provided 2 Days Before Class (South Lakeville)
  • Course May Require a Minimum of 3 Students (Instructor Discretion)

Refund Policy

Rental Policy

Students who provide 48 hours notice will be refunded in full, less any transaction fees.

Students who provide less than 48 hours notice may NOT be refunded unless a reasonable situation is noted by the student. This clause is simply put in place in an effort to avoid no-shows and ensure effective use of classroom and instructor time.

The firearm rental policy includes the price of ammunition, but students may use their own ammunition if approved by the instructor.

The range rentals include a striker fired 9mm pistol and a similar frame 22 long rifle pistol. For students who are hesitant in relation to the range qualification, the 22 long rifle pistol is advised.

Firearm rental is $15
